[BlueOnyx:11342] IP Issues

Hello everyone,

We've got a peculiar problem related to the IP on our server. All of our sites are set up with the correct IP. Let's call it A.A.A.A. Unfortunately, the IP for the machine (as seen in the TCP/IP Settings in Blue Onyx) is set to B.B.B.B.

Normally, we'd just switch out the IP in TCP/IP settings to be A.A.A.A, but unfortunately, this IP is set as Primary Interface Alias 0 on the Interface Aliases tab.

If we try to set the IP to A.A.A.A, Blue Onyx won't save the value (likely because it's taken by the alias).

If we try to remove the alias before setting it to the primary IP, Blue Onyx won't let us because all the sites are owned by A.A.A.A.

Our thought at this point is to:
* Update all the sites to use C.C.C.C (automatically creating a new alias)
* Remove the A.A.A.A alias
* Boot in to single-user mode
* Change the IP in a few key files to get it to boot
* Update the IP in BlueOnyx as well.
* Change all the sites back to A.A.A.A
* Remove the extra alias C.C.C.C

Obviously, this is quite a bit of work. We just wanted to check in to see if anyone had any better ideas of how to go about this.

Thanks for any help!
