Yep some of mine have it.
[root at mail ~]# ifconfig
eth0      Link encap:Ethernet  HWaddr D6:F7:C7:CC:13:6B
           inet addr:1.2.3.4  Bcast:1.2.2.4  Mask:255.255.255.0
*inet6 addr: 1234::1234:1234:1234:1234/64* Scope:Link


googling found this, I have used this previously for a similar issue.

|# vi /etc/sysconfig/network|
NETWORKING_IPV6=no
   IPV6INIT=no
Save and close the file.
Restart networking service
|# service network restart
   # rmmod ipv6|
