Yes, that's the problem.

These RPMs were not built for CentOS 5 and therefore conflict with the
Perl on CentOS 5.

Just look at the build date of the perl-DB-File RPM: Mon 22 Aug 2005
02:36:57 AM. Build Host: builder.nuonce.net

That RPM was definitely built on a CentOS4 box.

So uninstall the conflicting RPMs (and the MailScanner stuff) and it'll
be good.
