Thanks Gerald.  But its single drive.  In fact, its virtualized and pretending its on just one drive.

Unfortunately,this is the only BlueOnyx server with LVM.  And that's the problem - LVM.  Its like dracut can't find the block device to mount the logical partitions /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-root and /dev/mapper/VolGroup00-swap.

Andwhen I try to mount manually (to fix LVM, or at least recover data) - the lvdisplay gives nothing at all.  I've seen what its supposed to report back, and its not giving that data.  So I can't get the logical volumes to mount manually either.

Its beginning to look like I'm hosed....
