thank you for your mail.
But it seems also not to be the site quota

quota -g site4
Disk quotas for group site4 (gid 505):
     Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-home
                3827748  6144000 6145024           14683       0       0

quota woso
Disk quotas for user woso (uid 516):
     Filesystem  blocks   quota   limit   grace   files   quota   limit   grace
/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-home
                3472304  5120000 5121024              64       0       0

Both quotas are not at the 90/95% limit.

Any idea how to find out why the user is getting warning message?

Could be that the user's quota is OK, but that the site quota (all users combined + webspace) is running short. In that case the siteAdmin gets a warning, too.
