Ah, I see.

Ok, so we have a 500GB WD drive, which is part of a RAID array. The
drive has been spinning for 12894 hours (1.4 years in total). Which
isn't that much. Usually the WD's of that type turn bad within the first
three months, or they're good for 4-5 years.

I can see the error report about the two unrecoverable sectors, but the
data there was relocated to other blocks. The other errors or status
messages don't give much to worry about at this time.

If this were my box, I'd rate this as a hickup and would ignore it for
the most part. Especially as the box carries no mission critical data
and you've got RAID1. But maybe once every few weeks I'd run smartctl
again to see if the number of errors (especially the uncorrectable
sectors) goes up.

In the worst case scenario this drive might develop more troubles within
the next couple of months. But even then you still got RAID1 and the
other drive retains the data. Which would give you enough time to get a
spare and to replace sdb if it comes to this point.

However, if the number of SMART related errors doesn't go up drastically
within the next couple of weeks, then this drive might be good for
another 2-3 years.
