[BlueOnyx:12595] php not working

Came into work this morning and the php on both of my blue onyx boxes are
not working. The admin works fine, perl and mysql are fine, but php just
goes to download.

on a php -v you get

PHP Warning:  PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
'/usr/lib64/php/modules/module.so' - /usr/lib64/php/modules/module.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on

only thing in the httpd error log is

we've checked and unchecked php on sites to no avail.

seems very similar to this

we reinstalled php from yum with no luck

yum installed/updated the following last night, we're going through them
now.

Any ideas of where we should look?
