Hi Ken,

This behavior is entirely intentional.

Go to the site in question in the GUI. Go to "Services" & "FTP". There you
fine "Allow FTP for non-SiteAdmin".

If this is *not* ticked (which is the default), then only siteAdmin's can
FTP. All other users get access denied via the .ftpaccess files.

If the checkbox is ticked, everyone can FTP and the .ftpaccess files are
removed and won't get created.

Hi all,

Just a small heads up: Today I published around 100 updated RPMs for
BlueOnyx 5207R and 5208R.

They contain various small fixes and optimizations that have stacked up over
the last two weeks. These address nothing critical or dramatic and the
update should be pretty uneventful for everyone.

The only real bugfix in there is regarding base-mailman, which demanded a
full email address for the owner. It now accepts either a username
*or* an email address instead. Also: If the local or remote subscriber list
was empty on list creation, then there was a PHP error about an "undefined
index", but it would create the list nonetheless. This has been fixed and
shouldn't throw errors anymore.

The other fixes and changes were along the same lines: Missing object
declarations, removal of debugging code, pre-declaration of previously
undeclared indexes and things like that, which could potentially generate
display errors under certain circumstances.

Call it a coding housecleaning.

The biggest addition (and most of you won't see or use it for now
anyway) are some preparational additions for 5209R on EL7. Such as the new
PHP classes I18n.php and CCE.php, which (on 5209R) will replace the PHP
modules for the internationalization and the communication between the GUI
and CCEd.

As always: If you encounter any issues, let me know.
