One of my DNS servers has run into a problem ... it won't start :-/

>From messages log:

/etc/named.conf: permission denied

Permissions look fine but the server IP address has been changed, so not sure if that has caused a problem?

-rw-r--r-- 1 named named 1187 Jul 3 16:07 named.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 named named 1197 Jul 3 16:06 named.conf~

More info when I try and start

[root at server2 etc]# service named start

/etc/init.d/named: line 24: .: /etc/sysconfig/named: cannot execute binary file

Compared permissions with a working server and they are the same

[root at server2 etc]# ls -al /etc/sysconfig/named
-rw-r----- 1 root root 1761 Jun 27 16:53 /etc/sysconfig/named

Can't find anything in the list archive ... anybody able to help please?

5106R fully up to date

Thanks

Colin
