Very well. I rolled up an update towards that end and will publish it
tonight.

I looked into the suspend issue as well and I refreshed my memory about
how it is supposed to work:

When we suspend a site or a user, then this will affect the rights on
the affected user home directory, too. Sendmail is no longer able to
access the mailbox, Dovecot can no longer connect to it either and these
people cannot login by FTP or other services anymore.

That is the intended behavior and the way it works now.

But this also means that when they get email, the email is returned to
sender as undeliverable, because the mbox of the user is no longer
writeable. This leaves feedback with the sender that the email recipient
has not gotten that missive. Which kinda works the same if the user or
vsite is over quota.

So we get the best out of both worlds here: The disabled user gets no
more email and the sender gets a notice that his email didn't go through.

So I think your problem is that somehow the rights on the user
directories reverted back and are no longer as they should be for
suspended users.

You can fix this by running this script as "root" from SSH:

/usr/sausalito/sbin/fix_user_suspension.pl
