We need to cater to a wide range of usage scenarios. People not always
use www.domain.com for web and exclusively map username at domain.com to
this domain for email.

There may be subdomains with the same domain name. Or other Vsites that
share the same domain name. Or it could be that (for this Vsite) email
is actually hosted on a completely different server.

So as is OpenWebmail (and also RoundCube) use the full FQDN as default
email address. But each webmail user can change that in his OpenWebmail
or Roundcube settings to match his actual usage case.
