Just to add my perspective - I am also an aventurine nut. I have used other products before settling on Aventurine … but for Linux hosting, its a winner. It also does have some KVM features for non linux operation, but I have not tried those bits yet to be honest. If you only want linux hosting though, Aventurine is the way to go.

The one thing that I will point out is the importance of storage speed. One of my clients has a really busy server running a lot of VERY busy VPS’s on Aventurine. When he first did this, he did not have fast enough storage, and it was not delivering the performance he needed. After getting faster storage, his system now performs amazingly.

But let me give you a simple suggestion. Try before you buy. If you are interested in doing an Aventurine trial - I’m sure we can get you a demo key for the product. Drop Michael or I an email off list and we’ll discuss.
