Michael,
Thank I did all that and had to reboot from the master node all worked fine.
I did have to manually start mysql /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysqld start (this 
is that vps 101)
Is there a file to edit to make sure mysql auto starts?
We are running MySQL     5.5.34-3     Solarspeed.net
