I see I need to explain a bit more what I mean by the main site.

When you setup a new BO server it asks you to supply a host and domain name
that you will use to access the BO server and manage adding new sites. I
will refer to that address as the main site address (main.domain.com)

Next I purchase an SSL certificate for my main site (main.domain.com) and
install it on the server so that when I access the administration panel I do
not get a certificate warning.

Next I setup a number of virtual sites
site1.domain.com
site2.domain.com

Next I setup webmail for all the virtual sites to use by going to
http://site1.domain.com/webmail
http://site2.domain.com/webmail

Since I purchased an SSL certificate for my main site I would also like to
provide my customers with the an alternate address they could use to
securely access webmail on that server.
https://main.domain.com/webmail

I am hoping that when a customer goes to https://site1.domain.com/webmail
that they will get https://main.domain.com/webmail
