Hello list,

I need a little guidance… One of my 5208R machines is having an issue where Dovecot is shutting down, and I can’t determine the issue. I restart the service and it runs a while then get the following in the maillog:

Apr 10 09:27:01 mail dovecot: master: Warning: Killed with signal 15 (by pid=14763 uid=0 code=kill)
Apr 10 09:27:01 mail dovecot: imap(plans): Server shutting down. in=151 out=114297
Apr 10 09:27:01 mail dovecot: imap(amanager): Server shutting down. in=74 out=18022
Apr 10 09:27:01 mail dovecot: imap(plans): Server shutting down. in=2633 out=151667

Looking at the messages log when Dovecot dies:

I restarted the llpad service as suggested in another thread (is that installed by RoundCube?) to get rid of those entries. Interesting a server restart didn’t start that service properly.

Anyway, any help is appreciated for suggestions where else to look, what to check, etc.

Cheers,
Jeff
