As I see the list is now back up and running,

It's been a stressful day, still our 5208r servers are down, now for for over 10 hours,

Can anyone please help in how we can manually remove php 7 and get 5.5 back, PHP 7 wont remove from GUI, we get page cannot be displayed, and not its corrupted.

Virtbiz and I have been working on these most of day, and last resort is a massive CMU of each server and restore to new servers.

Any ideas would really help.
This all started since last YUM update which then auto installed all the software e/ updates from the store.

Thanks and regards
Richard

Subject: [BlueOnyx:20863] server issue due to automatic install PHP 7

Morning

for some reason after the yum date (10th April) , both our server 5208r servers decided to AUTOMATICALLY install all software and updates last night from our BO professional subscriptions on both serves.

This is a disaster as it installed dfix and dfix , automated backup , openwebmail, and a load more we don't use, but the worse thin is PHP 7 we cannot use PHP 7 hence why we never installed it and stuck with 5.6

E uninstalled all the unwanted software , then the last thing we tried was to uninstall PHP 7.

We tried to uninstall from the GUI PHP7 and server just reports "page cannot be displayed after 10 seconds" now we have issue with PHP 7 saying installed, but it's not , all dependencies are corrupt httpd won't start , and we cannot uninstall php 7 to go back to php 5.6

This is really urgent, so would appreciate some help, top get servers back on line, and back to php 5.6

Also what happened last night with the yum updates to make our server auto install everything, the settings still say only NEWlinq is auto installed.

Would appreciated any help and guidance on how to fix this on both my 5208R servers

Thanks

Richard

Virtbiz has been in contact with me about this and Dedicated54 should be fine again. I rolled it back to PHP-5.4.45.

Yes, it sure is a mess and I apologize.
