Not really. I have like 60 WordPress sites and they all work.

 

One thing to check is the server wide settings for htaccess allowed items. 

Go to Server Management, Network Services, Web and make sure "All" is
checked for Options and AllowOverride

 

That is the only thing I can think of that might be a problem.
