This is not a DNS issue what is seems to be is a Wordpress issue I have 
seen before.
1. use cdn and cloudflare is a possible cause
2. BPFirewall and sometime AllinOne Firewall
3. fetching style sheets from a cdn or remote site

We stop using all and now the all load faster

Just my thoughts
