hmm, I would suggest it is more a missing hostname:

There is no hostname in the curl call.
If you try manual:

curl -L --silent --dump-header /usr/sausalito/acme/data/http.header  -g
curl: no URL specified!

I checked the URL for error code 6 and that's a DNS resolver issue:

CURLE_COULDNT_RESOLVE_HOST (6)

Couldn't resolve host. The given remote host was not resolved.

Please check if the server can resolve DNS. Maybe it's still affected by the
recently fixed /etc/resolv.conf isssues?
