thanks Michael, but sometimes get_quotas.pl fails and returns:

> Can't call method "users" on an undefined value at /usr/sausalito/sbin/get_quotas.pl line 139.

it happens sometimes, presumably when get_quotas.pl is used repeatedly orafter 03:00 at night in a script

any ideas?
