[BlueOnyx:24379] Problem With E-Mail Forwarding and SPF

Hello,

we have run into a peculiar problem:
When using the E-Mail Forwarding Feature of regular user's Basic Settings, it happens that sometimes Bounces are generated due to SPF Policies, as our server is not allowed to send E-Mails under a specific domain.
So to be able to avoid this I was looking for means to Re-Write the "FROM:" to match a Domain our Server can send E-Mails from.
I have stumbled across this solution using .procmailrc in the respective users directory: https://www.adsar.co.uk/sendmail-spf/

This works quite well, but also has some unwanted side effects: The user needs to have shell access and more importantly this configuration breaks as soon as I add an address into the field in the BO UI.
A new .forward is generated in the users home directory and .procmailrc is no longer used.
trying to relay all E-Mails to procmail by calling |/usr/bin/procmail in .forward does not work either.
Does Anybody have an idea to get this working?

Kind Regards
