Hello Michael,

I did install a new 5210R (Almalinux) and did a yum update.

Now I try to add a let’s encrypt certificate to a site.

I definitely enter an e-mail address in the Contact E-Mail field. But I get
the following error message in letsencrypt.log:

[Fri Oct  1 15:26:04 CEST 2021] Register account Error: {

  "type": "urn:ietf:params:acme:error:invalidEmail",

  "detail": "Error creating new account :: contact email
\"apache at localhost\" has invalid domain : Domain name needs at least one
dot",

  "status": 400

}

[Fri Oct  1 15:26:04 CEST 2021] _on_issue_err

[Fri Oct 1 15:26:04 CEST 2021] Please check log file for more details:
/var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log

[Fri Oct 1 15:26:04 CEST 2021] Diagnosis versions:

openssl:openssl

OpenSSL 1.1.1g FIPS  21 Apr 2020

Am I doing something wrong, or is this a script error?

Best regards,

Dirk
