Indeed. It appears it was only updated by /root/network_settings.sh and 
that is indeed not right.

I just added provisions to the modernized base-network module that will 
take care of updating /etc/issue properly:

This will eventually get released once more testing has completed. RPMs 
for this are currently in the [BlueOnyx-5211R-Testing] YUM repository.
