There is a feature in the package architecture that includes a flag. This flag is designed to push updates to all installed vSites automatically on install at a server level. This flag is only active on Roundcube and DokuWiki. However, I actually noticed that this function is not working in the current version of the web app installer. 

Right now, I am knee deep in upgrading a bunch of old servers, including Compass build servers. Another few weeks until done. After that, rebuilding the WHAM installer is on my to-do list and I’ll check auto update functionality when I reach that point.
