Killing it off might corrupt the "duplicity" cache, so it's best to 
start over.

Delete the cache first:

rm -R /home/.easy-backup/duplicity-cache/

Also delete the content on the remote backup server.

And then start Easy-Backup again to let it run with a clean slate.
