Hi everyone.

The last couple of releases of dfix turned out to be just a little
problematic.... (Understatement). I've done another final fix to the
current issues...

The new release fixes the following issues:

1. The code was not properly handling the new http error logfile. It was
correctly blocking, but those blocks got removed immediately.
This is now fixed.

2. The whole concept of parsing the http error log file is subjective.
Some people have websites with a large number of broken links. This
would cause false positives for users who hit broken links too much. As
a result, the 1.6 version of DFIX will auto patch your config file when
it installs, to set the thresholds to "safe" values. It will only
trigger now if a user gets 49 errors in the last 50 log entries.... This
type of threshold almost disables this feature because the threshold is
so high. This feature is still in DFIX for those that want it. You'll
have to tune those values to meet your needs.

3. When I tried to fix the blocking and unblocking earlier, I forgot to
increment the rpm package version number. Those that installed the 1.5
release of dfix as an upgrade would have found no improvement, even
though the code had been tweaked to fix #1. I have now released dfix 1.6
with all the version numbers incremented, and I have also enhanced the
code a little more to help handle the http error log file better.

4. There are a couple of other minor tweaks to the code. dfix now checks
to make sure it is blocking by IP address only before implementing a
block. (This fixes the problem for people that have name resolution
turned on for their web servers).

Please accept my apologies for the pain over the last couple of days.
Enjoy DFix 1.6

Regards,
Greg.
