I've also had BlueOnyx running for a while on Sun VirtualBox. Works good. It seems to eat up more of this server's dual-Xeon/6Gig RAM resources than I would have expected of a single VM, but it works.
On the other hand, I work with someone who tried using that crap MS virtual software on a Win2003 server. Both BlueQuartz and BlueOnyx had problems! Clocks kept skewing (adding 8 minutes to the system clock every hour), kept loosing ability to get into the virtual console, and the VMs kept loosing access to their virtual hard drive. All in all - a crappy piece of software. Just what I expected from M$.
