[BlueOnyx:05711] Relaying denied

I would like to be able to email via our server but get the error message:

 

            Server error: '550 5.7.1 <fbowd at wyxxxg.com>... Relaying denied.

Proper authentication required.'

 

I believe this is also why Squirrelmail will not work from outside our lan.
Any suggestions?
