From what I can tell, there is a solution already available. The points
below are a summary of what you have asked for on and off-list...
* automatically installing CMS type systems like Joomla, Wordpress or
Drupal?
* Building other CMS (and non CMS) modules.
* bring any number of pre written code on and offline.
WHAM can I think meet these requirements. WHAM is free, you just buy the
module(s) you want. It works for CMS or non-CMS modules, and it will
work to bring all sorts of pre-written code on/offline for a vsite.
If there's something I'm missing, let me know. My offer to you still
stands: "We might be able to help with a
solution... just need to know a bit more." .... If there are specific
apps you want available, let me know, and they'll be built as time permits.
