Last time I checked, a CPanel licenses wasn't $1000, it was more on the
lines of a monthly fee, but I could be wrong.

But, re-evaluate what you stated: most folks you host do not even use the
site admin GUI. Why is that? Probably because those clients don't need or
want to. How many more clients could you attract if you had some more
"attractions" to offer those you haven't signed up yet?

Maybe I should be asking how many of your clients use webmail? How many
would like more options than Squirrelmail by default or optionally
RoundCube? I don't like either one of them myself, I prefer Open WebMail.
Others do too.

What I was suggesting was adding more hooks into the features of BlueOnyx
that would allow developers an easier way to create add-on webmail options
for BlueOnyx. A default webmail landing page that linked to the existing
webmail programs installed on a server would be a good feature to me, as
opposed to the 'hard-wired' option of Squirrelmail dominating the
"/webmail/" URL alias.

Options are a good thing.

On the other hand, I do not like the fact that OWM dominates the URL alias
"/data/" either.
