[BlueOnyx:08248] Wordpress reading PHP version incorrectly

I have someone trying to load Wordpress on one of our BX servers and it keeps failing with:

'Your server is running PHP version 5.1.6 but WordPress 3.2.1 requires at least 5.2.4.'

We have the Solarspeed 5.2.17 package installed and Moodle reads this version correctly but WP doesn't for some reason.

Anybody able to advise on a quick workaround?

Yes I have read the instructions at " http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress" and http://www.blog.paranoidpenguin.net/2011/01/running-blueonyx-with-suphp-and-wordpress/ :)
