Yeah, the Pentium M was an odd CPU and I can see why the install didn't work. 

It is pretty likely that even a stock 32-bit CentOS5 or SL-6.1 CD won't 
install on it either. The 64-bit version may possibly work, but not that this 
helps at the moment.
