OK here is the log entry from /var/log/messages

OK, so everytime I save it changes by 7 hours, which is the offset for
my timezone I guess.

Also as a minor annoyance in the same function. The first time a user
goes in it to set a vacation message the time is off as well. It is
8:34am as I write this but when I go into set a vacation message it
shows 3:34pm, which is the same 7 hour offset.
