[BlueOnyx:09258] apache access logs

Hi,

Just wondering:
Is it working as designed that apache writes its access log not to
/var/log/httpd/access_log
as BQ did, but instead writes its acces log to the file
/var/log/httpd/access_log-yyyymmdd
where yyyymmdd is some date in the past?

The same holds true for the error_log

This for me makes it difficult to have a brute force detection on the
current log.

Is it possible to revert apache's behaviour to the one known to BQ, so
that the current access and eror-log filenames are access_log and
error_log (without a date appended)?

Thanks
