Ok,
I executed the commands and waited, saw a yum update occur, then executed the restart.
That was nerve-wracking! Thanks, All back to normal now. VERY much appreciate the assist!

That is unrelated, and has been covered at least half a dozen times:
yum clean all
yum update
/etc/init.d/cced.init restart

Do it from the CLI. As root, type 'df'. That'll show you what's full.
