[BlueOnyx:08411] Failed log-in dialog

two questions: 

1)  I have a failed login on my failed logins screen with 60 attempts from a specific host.  It has a green light next to it.  what does the green light mean?

2)  when users log into squirrel mail I noticed the authentication is not https.  can that be configured in the GUI?
