        found it!
        After the shell for the site was enabled,       
        there was a "new" selection for the
        user that was not there before.

          I've now set it ... and although I
        never recall seeing that icon before
        ... it is there now!

        I just wonder if the last YUM was 
        the issue, since it seems that the
        problem was from the same time period.
