[BlueOnyx:09886] Install problem on Dell OptiPlex 990 - eth0 does not exist

I'm trying to install 5108R on a Dell OptiPlex 990 and very early in the
DVD boot I get the following:

The provided network interface eth0 does not exist

CentOS 6.2 loads on the system absolutely fine (so does 5.8).  How do I get past this
issue?
