Hi Michael,
when I do a:

openssl req -in request -noout -text

It shows me that the newly gnerated request is still 1024bit.

Subject Public Key Info:
            Public Key Algorithm: rsaEncryption
                Public-Key: (1024 bit)


I made sure that I ran a yum update first so the latest 5107R was installed.

Is there something I have to edit first?
