[BlueOnyx:12144] 5108 and openwebmail error

I recently upgraded my servers to a 5108.
Everything is great, except openwebmail gives the:

"Couldn't get read lock on db
/home/.sites/XX/siteYY/.users/ZZ/username/.openwebmail/db/username"
error.

This occurred previously on my 5106, and changing of dbmopen_haslock to
"yes" fixed it.
But this variable was already set to "yes" (I tried "no" just to see, but no
change)

--- Trying:

/home/solarspeed/openwebmail/cgi-bin/openwebmail/openwebmail-tool.pl -iv
INBOX  username

Produced the message:

db /home/.sites/XX/siteYY/.users/ZZ/username/.openwebmail/db/username verify
error -1

Suggestions from fellow BX'er would be appreciated!
Also I'd like to know if others have had this problem.
