Ok, I took a look at that code. I even *tried* to force it show up blank
for me on purpose. It wouldn't. Instead it would fall back to a default
value that's implanted deep into the code for that type of display item.

Then I have an idea what it could be. Please do this:
Login to the GUI as "admin". Go to "Active Monitor" and click on the
icon next to "Disk Usage". How many partitions does the GUI show for you?
As a bare minimum it *must* show "/". More is OK. But if the GUI doesn't
report "/", then it'll be the root cause of the problem.
