Hi all,

I just updated the BlueOnyx 520XR demo at demo.blueonyx.it with the latest
changes and additions.

What's new:

1.) New Capability "shellAccess", which can be queried.

2.) Admin can now use the GUI ("Network Services" / "Shell") to
manage/create SSH keys and certificates. PasswordAuth for SSH can be
disabled, so that only Key based auths remain. Generated id_rsa.pub can be
downloaded via the GUI. A generated PEM certificate can be downloaded as
well. If a PEM certificate is created via the GUI, then its public key is
automatically added to authorized_keys. Likewise, authorized_keys can be
edited to remove entries via the GUI and public keys can be uploaded via the
GUI.

If the box is not in demo-mode, only the first 15 and last 15 characters of
the actual public key are shown in the GUI. In DEMO-mode even that is
hidden.

3.) IF a user has Shell access enabled (and only then!) there will be a new
menu entry under "Personal Profile", called "SSH Access". From there any
user with Shell access can manage his SSH keys/certs in the same way.

4.) In the "Programs" menu the sub-entry for "SSH" logins via the built in
applet will now only show if the user has Shell access to begin with.

5.) phpMyAdmin access for Reseller: If a Reseller accesses phpMyAdmin, he's
shown a list of Vsites he owns and can login to the MySQL databases (if
there are any) of his managed Vsites.

6.) SPF-Wizard: Under DNS management (both for Server DNS management and
Vsite DNS management) I added an Ajax based wizard to the page that allows
you to create/manage TXT records. With that wizard it is possible to get a
suggested SPF record, which can then be filled into the correct GUI field.

7.) IMAP-Sync built in. Under "Vsite" / "User Management" and "Personal
Profile" / "Email" there is now a new Tab for "IMAP-Synchronization". If you
tick the "enable" checkbox a larger menu unfolds. Into that you enter the
connection details of the server you want to import emails from and the
server to that you want to transfer them. So this is not strictly an import,
but can also used to export local mails or to transfer emails from two other
servers. When the transfer has failed, you get an error message and a
logfile. When it has completed successfully, you can view (and later delete)
the logfile for that transaction in the GUI. It is not 100% perfect, but
seems to work fairly well.

8.) Web based setup Wizard for BlueOnyx itself is also finished. I think I
had mentioned that already. It now also asks the user to set a MySQL root
password right away, as people tend to forget to set it.

9.) DNS: Ability to add/manage "IPv6 Forward Address (AAAA) Records".
While it is not yet possible to run Vsites with IPv6 IP addresses on
BlueOnyx, one can now create and manage IPv6 AAAA records.

Just before it's asked: General IPv6 support for BlueOnyx will come. But it
won't be in the initial release of 520XR as it would hold up the release
even further at this time.

---

With these things out of the way, the development of 520XR is almost
finished. All left to do is to roll up the planned "base-support"
module, which allows to generate diagnostic dumps, to file bug reports,
feature requests and to request support.

Yay, the end is near! \o/

ETA for the BETA release of BlueOnyx 5207R/5208R: Two weeks if all goes
well.
