All we do is put WP in and do the 5 minute install as mentioned.  Make 
sure of 2 things:
#1: You have PHP enabled on the site
#2: If using suPHP (recommended!) you have the file ownership set properly.

Apart from that, remember that the site setup in BlueOnyx sets a default 
index.html.  You'll need to remove that in order for the index.php for 
WordPress to appear (without explicitly specifying the filename in your 
URL).
