It's true for an update from 5107R/5108R to 5207R/5208R using the
procedure outline here: http://www.blueonyx.it/index.php?page=upgrade

That's because neither Apache nor the PHP version nor MySQL will change
during that upgrade. It's just the bits and pieces for the GUI that get
updated and modified.

If you migrate with CMU from 5106R to 5207R/5208R, then that's a
different matter and there your objections are of course correct.
