It  Did not work on a Virtual 5106 and 5206

(tried starting stopping ftp)


-Confirmed it DOES works on a Physical (regular) 5106

Ran the commands below but still no connect

Hi all,
 
I just published the next set of updates that deal with ProFTPd.
 
The updates contain an updated proftpd and base-ftp-* RPMs.
 
As usual:
 
yum clean all
yum update
/sbin/swatch
 
That will get your FTP running again. This incorporates the fix that
Dirk Estenfeld suggested with a split ProFTPd configuration:
 
/etc/proftpd.conf        <- For regular FTP
/etc/proftpds.conf       <- For secure FTP via TLS
 
This gets FTP running again, but as George Nemeyer reported in
[BlueOnyx:16322] there might be logging issues that will need further
fixing. But this should put out the worst fires for now.
