Hi all,

I had problems on 5106R as well. I tried to keep up reading the forum. I not sure I followed all correctly..

- I did the yum upgrade  +  /usr/sbin/swatch
- I checked to see if the TLS prefs are split over prodtfp.conf and proftpds.conf
- I commented that line 13 about that double server-args ( actually either choice, line 12 or 13, works imo)

When I do this :
 [root at hosting1 etc]# /sbin/service proftpd stop
 [root at hosting1 etc]# /sbin/service xinetd restart

I still get : 
 Shutting down proftpd:	[FAILED] 
 Stopping xinetd:			[  OK  ]
 Starting xinetd:			[  OK  ]

Afterwards I tried my FTP-with-TLS/SSL but the tls.log gave me :
 2014-10-31 14:45:12,973 mod_tls/2.6[30036]: TLSOption UseImplicitSSL in effect, starting SSL/TLS handshake
 2014-10-31 14:45:32,942 mod_tls/2.6[30036]: unable to accept TLS connection: received EOF that violates protocol
 2014-10-31 14:45:32,942 mod_tls/2.6[30036]: implicit SSL/TLS negotiation failed on control channel

So, in my FTP client , I changed FTP-with-TLS/SSL to FTP-with-implicit-SSL. Previously I was always using "with-TLS/SSL", but now it's working with "Implicit-SSL"

So I think I'm fine. Still red icon in the status panel though. Thank you Michael and others for looking into this stuff extensively and immediately !
