On my BO serving as secondary DNS, all zone files are stored in /var/named/chroot/var/named folder.

I seem to remember trying to do this myself some time ago but the problem was that the slave zone files do not have as much information as the primary zone. I think in the end I had to build a quick Windows DNS Server, add that as a secondary and then within the Windows GUI, you can actually change them from secondary to primary. If I remember how I got them back to BO, I will repost!
