[BlueOnyx:16832] Connection to MySQL Database fails

From time to time my virtual sites can not connect to their database. After restarting mysql everything works, but a few hours or days later the connections fails again and I have to restart mysql. 
I have 26 virtual sites on my server and enough disk space. When I look into access_log of httpd there is only a blank page. 

Any ideas?
