Maybe you can increase the max connections,

 

Have you checked error_log ?

 

You can increase them in the >Network Service - /etc/mycnf Editor

 

I have these settings for a highly used server with 16 gigs of Ram

max_connections=9000

max_user_connections=3000

>From time to time my virtual sites can not connect to their database. After restarting mysql everything works, but a few hours or days later the connections fails again and I have to restart mysql. 

I have 26 virtual sites on my server and enough disk space. When I look into access_log of httpd there is only a blank page. 

 

Any ideas?
