The validator in the GUI for domain names or FQDN should work with
pretty much all of the new TLDs. I don't expect any problems there.

On the Apache level (Apache webserver) I don't foresee any problems
either. The links you posted are about other Apache Software Foundation
projects not related to the Apache webserver. For example, the link
above is for "Jira", which is a project managing software.
